UNA COLUMNA SANA

Nuestra Columna Vertebral es la encargada de mantenernos  de pie y está rodeada por ramificaciones nerviosas, por eso es considerada el soporte y la línea de la vida.

Sin embargo casi el 80% de la población mundial sufre de problemas en la espalda y cuello. Será que no le damos la justa importancia a una columna sana?

Joseph Pilates solía decir «Eres tan joven o tan viejo cómo te sientes. Si tu espalda es rígida con 30 años entonces eres viejo. Si consigue que sea móvil y flexible a los 60, entonces te seguirás manteniendo joven.»

La correcta alineación de la columna es de vital importancia para el correcto funcionamiento del sistema nervioso central.

Junto con la obesidad y el estres, el dolor de espalda, es otra de las enfermedades más comunes de nuestro siglo: cómplice el sedentarismo!

El Pilates puede ser de gran ayuda para prevenir los errores posturales y de consecuencia los dolores de espalda.

Consejos por una columna saludable!

  • Pásate al Pilates! Pilates estira y fortalece la musculatura a la vez que mantiene la columna en su posición natural.
  • Nada de «sofing»! Cada 20 minutos es bueno levantarse y caminar. En la oficina levántate, elige siempre que puedas las escaleras y aparca el coche lejos y date un paseo!
  • Elige sillas ergonómicas. La silla debe mantener la espalda recta y recoger las lumbares.
  • Toma consciencia en todo momento de tu postura. Caminando y al estar el sentado. La actitud influye: espalda recta, pecho orgulloso, hombros alineados y tripa adentro!
  • Come sano. Evita los procesados, las grasas trans y los alimentos precocinados. Mantén tu peso saludable!
  • A raya el estres!! La espalda es directamente afectada por las preocupaciones. La meditación es una buena forma de darle salida.
  • Revisa los niños! La columna veces se ve afectada de problemas genéticos o de otra origines como la cifosis o la escoliosis. Prevenir y curar en edad temprana es la mejor opción!
